Descripción del Evento

EFN's co-founder will overview the prize, why to apply and how we can help.

A panel of community-based innovation leaders and grant strategists will help the audience including many first-timers to federal funding feel more comfortable applying for this prize.

EFN will help attendees tap into EFN's ongoing support to applicants or those still considering applying including weekly office hours.

Through the Inclusive Energy Innovation Prize, the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) aim to fund organizations for ongoing and/or proposed activities related to climate and clean energy that support, build trust, and strengthen relationships and partnerships with disadvantaged communities.

Specifically, this prize seeks to enable and enhance business and technology incubation, acceleration, and other community-based and university-based entrepreneurship and innovation in climate and clean energy technologies. Up to 10 organizations will share a total prize pool of up to $2.5 million. DOE and NREL are working with EFN and other external organizations to ensure that the goals of this prize are met.
