The Bay Area's largest racial equity conference is officially back for another round of community-building, mobilization, and inspiration.
There's no ambiguity that this is the time for the equity movement to rise up and meet the challenges brought by the global pandemic and the subsequent economic fallout. So as we all take this time to physically distance, we want to offer a space for people from diverse backgrounds, all united by the common cause of advancing racial equity, to connect with one another.
This year's virtual Economic Summit brings together some of the country's leading racial justice experts, advocates, and activists for a full day of cyber networking, thought-provoking panels, fireside chats, and conversations with NYT Bestselling Author Ibram X. Kendi and Black Lives Matter Co-Creator Alicia Garza.
Join us as we discuss the racial equity implications of the pandemic and what we must do to ensure that the recovery process includes all of our communities.
April 7th through April 30th, tickets start at only $5. As we recognize this is a financially challenging time for many, we have greatly expanded our scholarship capacity. If you have already purchased a ticket via Eventbrite, we will be issuing full refunds in the coming weeks.
