The objective of the Implementation Grants: 2018-2023 IAC or CHP TAP workstream is to provide federal funding to eligible SMMs to implement recommendations made in IAC or CHP TAP assessments between 2018 and 2023.
The IAC program, in partnership with ENERGYWERX, will collect and solicit applications from SMMs to determine initial eligibility. In addition, the program will further evaluate and prioritize applications to ensure that funded projects advance the goals of improving energy and material efficiency, increasing productivity, reducing emissions at SMMs. and directing the benefits of federal investment to disadvantaged communities.
DOE expects to make awards totaling up to $80 million in this round of funding, with a maximum of $300,000 per recipient SMM and a maximum 50% federal cost share.
