The New York Truck Voucher Incentive Program (NYTVIP) helps fleet owners in New York State afford clean vehicle technologies that are quiet, efficient and do not emit harmful pollutants or carbon. NYTVIP provides vouchers to fleets that purchase or lease zero emission (all-electric or hydrogen fuel cell electric) Class 3-8 Zero Emission Vehicles, Non-Road Equipment, and Transit Buses. NYTVIP is open to commercial, non-profit, and public sector fleet owners with vehicles and/or equipment located in New York State, if they meet the minimum eligibility requirements in the NYTVIP Implementation Manual. Voucher amounts are based on the base price of the vehicle or equipment with additional incentives available for small fleet owners, vehicles and equipment operated in Disadvantaged Communities, and for dismantling a similar older, diesel vehicle.
