GENH’s Adaptive HydroTM is the first-of-its-kind mobile, rapidly deployable, up-and-over technology for dam/hydraulic head electrification. The system consists of modular siphons conveying upstream water up-and-over a dam/hydraulic head into a modular turbine. GENH’s Adaptive HydroTM generating capacity can be easily scaled based on flow patterns. It is designed to avoid interaction with the dam, removing the need for civil works & eliminating structural load. Deployed with a dam remediation feature, it can transfer oxygen rich water & nutrient rich sediment downstream while providing safe passage for migratory fish. GENH’s Adaptive HydroTM was designed for rapid installation: 2-4 weeks vs. >24 months for traditional hydropower installations.
