At Ultra High Materials, Inc. we have developed proprietary, ultra-low carbon, high-performance cements and concretes that reduce embodied CO2 by 80-90%. These materials meet or exceed all critical performance criteria at equal or lower cost compared to commonly used cement and concrete. They can be designed to achieve final strengths as high as 32,000 psi, early strength as high and fast as 16,000 psi in 3 hrs., controllable set times, greater resistance to salt and acid corrosion and better fire resistance and stability at extreme temperatures - all of which contribute to longer expected life cycles.
The science underlying these materials comes from decades of discovery and development by leading chemists, physicists, and materials scientists. The objective we have attained is the delivery of greater capability at lower cost with a dramatic de facto reduction in embodied carbon from the most used materials in the world: cement and concrete - which currently generate >8% of all anthropogenic CO2.
