Komfort IQ is room-by-room, retrofit solution for HVAC carbon emissions reduction and temperature control. KIQ uses proprietary sensors, ML and smart-motors to control existing balancing dampers. The sensors detect occupancy to create behavioral and thermodynamic models in office-type spaces.
Removing the manual handle on existing balancing dampers and replacing the handle with a motor allows for auto-modulation based on the sensor-collected data. This automation reduces HVAC energy consumption by 40-60% and solves hot office/cold office problem.
