Carbon Blade is a pioneering carbon capture and storage solution to provide stand-alone and small-footprint "Blade" modules that combine distributed, renewable-powered electrochemical separation for the removal of carbon dioxide from ambient air.
Our technology is based on a three-step carbon capture reaction at ambient temperature and pressure, using mostly off the shelf parts, resulting in lower regeneration costs. The closed loop system allows for continuous regeneration of the substances that trigger the reactions in an electrodialysis bipolar membrane.
The system is self-powered by capitalizing on available integrated renewable resources including wind, solar, and rechargeable battery to provide continuous power for the regeneration step.
Finally, the systems are small footprint, closed loop with zero waste and can be deployed anywhere without the need for large supporting infrastructure.
