CARBON NEUTRAL & GRID INDEPENDENT POWER TO FAST CHARGE THE FUTURE

Resumen de la Organización

Oasis Microgrids generates localized, on-site and electric grid independent direct current (DC) electricity for electric vehicle (EV) fast charging. Our patented design has a charge rate of 300 kilowatt hours (kWh) which allows users to add 50 kWh of battery power in approximately ten (10) minutes while our power plant emits virtually zero CO2 or NOx emissions.

Growing EV adoption rates requires the daily electrical output of the United States to double which places significant stress on the electric utility grid. Existing grid-based electrical infrastructure is insufficient to accommodate the widespread growth of electric vehicle (EV) adoption and usage. High-speed EV charging station profitability is supplanted by electric utility demand charges which are a result of inadequate power capacity. Renewable sources of electricity cannot meet the increased demand of EV fast-charging and are not reliable around the clock. The timeline for installation and activation of new EV fast-charger stations is lengthy due to bureaucratic and supply chain hurdles within electric utilities. EV fast chargers are expensive to install and maintain because they convert high loads of alternate current (AC) to direct current (DC) electricity.

Oasis Microgrids has solutions for the list of problems with the current EV fast charging model identified above:

•  Our microgrid is decentralized and can be scaled to deliver DC electrical loads from 2 to 10 megawatts in size at a current wholesale cost of $0.08 per kilowatt hour (kWh).
•  The existing power grid has zero impact on the production of power at Oasis Microgrid locations.
•  We deliver reliable DC fast charging 24/7 to 20+ electric vehicles (EVs) simultaneously at a 300-kWh charging rate.
•  Where available, we can leverage existing NGH boiler infrastructure to reduce permitting timelines and charging station activation.
•  Our microgrid generates direct current (DC) electricity negating the costly and inefficient AC to DC conversion of grid connected EV chargers.
•  Oasis Microgrids oxygen-free engine exhaust is easily processed via carbon capture systems resulting in near-zero CO2 emissions and limits NOx to 2 ppm. We capture over 18,000 metric tons of CO2 annually
•  We have another precious byproduct of our system. At full capacity, each microgrid facility produces in excess of 16-acre feet of water annually.
•  Power, water, and steam can be utilized to cost effectively operate electrolyzers for hydrogen production.

This is how the Oasis Microgrids power plant operates:

-  Natural gas engines are modified with a patented combustion and cooling process.
-  Oxygen-free engine exhaust provides heat to a steam boiler outfitted with a turbine.
-  Steam is directed through a heat exchanger and a carbon capture system to sequester CO2.
-  Our microgid system requires 10,000 BTUs of natural gas to produce a KW of electricity.

The result of the Oasis Microgrids plant design is the each engine generates 300 kilowatts (KW) of DC power with near zero carbon and NOx emissions.  In addition we generate one additional megawatt (1 MW) of steam turbine electricity as well as producing up to 14,250 gallons of distilled water and 70 metric tons of carbon dioxide each day.

The opportunities for Oasis Microgrids are virtually limitless. We can improve the quality of the public EV

fast-charging station experience and increase the density and availability of DC fast chargers. We can

provide an executable and cost-effective onsite solution for commercial fleet operators  and our

abundant power, water, and steam can be utiulized to generate hydrogen for medium and heavy heavy-

duty operations. While our vision is to deploy DC fast-charging stations ubiquitously to facilitate the

adoption of and transition to EVs we also seek to expand microgrid use case beyond vehicle charging.
