Tour Engine has patented, developed, and is bringing to market a novel split-cycle internal combustion engine that offers high efficiency, low CO2 (Greenhouse Gas) emissions, and ultra-low NOx emissions, while also providing fuel flexibility with the ability to efficiently run on a variety of fuels, including hydrogen + methane blends, natural gas, and renewable propane. Our breakthrough platform technology is driving the transition to distributed power generation and accelerating the decarbonization of multiple billion-dollar industries, such as the residential, marine, and oil & gas sectors.
Our first product, the Tour ENABLE, is a hybrid engine-battery system that integrates combined heat and power (CHP) capabilities, powered by a 5kW Tour engine at its core. The Tour ENABLE offers over 50% greater efficiency compared to standard generators. This efficiency is achieved through Tour Engine’s innovative split-cycle design, which combines lean operation with low emissions and through the hybrid engine-battery architecture that enables the engine to run almost always at peak efficiency. The Tour ENABLE is on track to become the first small engine-based product to comply with CARB prime-power emission regulations, thereby enhancing distributed power generation and strengthening grid resiliency.
