- “An Energy Internet Platform for Transactive Energy & Demand Response Applications” (Chief Engineer Jason Lin served as Chief Technology Officer for a building energy management software startup) partnered with Virginia Tech & ComEd (utility) as part of a Phase 2 DOE SBIR to integrate building & microgrid energy management with a blockchain energy marketplace for trading kilowatt-hours & negawatts among DERs/IoTs.
- “Integration of Offgrid Energy Sources on Daedalus D80 Sailing Yacht” Rimation drove integration of renewable systems (solar, wind, hydro-regeneration, hydrogen) for a yacht manufacturer building their first $15M all-renewable-powered carbon-fiber sailing catamaran.
- “Remote Interface for Munition Recorders” Rimation designed shock-hardened embedded electronics involving wireless datalinks for U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Air Force contractor.
- “Smart Grid Machine Learning Application Portal” Rimation guided development of a software portal hosting Machine Learning Tools (Cost Benefit Analysis, Load-Forecasting, etc.) for an international utility consultancy, allowing them to productize their services.
