Guidehouse has partnered with White House Chronicle to present a twelve-part television series focused on the overarching topics of climate change, resiliency, and sustainability in the changing energy landscape. Subsequent episodes will focus on topics such as leadership, workforce, business models and regulatory, financing, transition management and change, the competitive landscape, and technology and infrastructure. White House Chronicle is a weekly news and public affairs program, now in its 22nd year on PBS. The program's host is nationally syndicated columnist Llewellyn King, and its co-host is journalist Linda Gasparello.
In episode one, Karen Wilson, partner at Guidehouse; Ted Walker, partner at Guidehouse; and Mackinnon Lawrence, director at Guidehouse discuss with host King climate change and the electric utility industry’s role. During their conversation, Wilson, Walker, and Lawrence explain how the energy system of today is transforming from one that is largely centralized to a more local, distributed system, or what Guidehouse calls the Energy Cloud.
