Event Description

As 2021 unfolds with renewed hope and urgency for nationwide health and fiscal recovery, how are we collectively encouraging underrepresented communities into the green economy? How can we, as diverse stakeholders in academia, government, business, and labor convene to double down on creating jobs and advocating for our communities?

Over the past year the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) has championed opportunities for economic recovery through equitable workforce training. This Green Jobs Report, commissioned by LACI, researched by HR&A Advisors, and funded by the California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) and the City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board, offers an in-depth analysis of Green Jobs in Los Angeles County and lays forth a course of action to grow an economy in Los Angeles that is greener, stronger, and more inclusive.

We want to share these exciting findings with you, in discussion with local and state government representatives, workforce development partners, and industry leaders.
