Event Description

Join us for December's virtual meeting and learn about regional Makerspaces and Fab Labs from the people that run them. These are creative, hands-on learning spaces where you can design, create, build, engineer, experiment with prototypes, collaborate with other makers, and access advanced technology.

Panelists include Eric Painter from the Monterey County Office of Education, Joe Gonzales of Digital Nest, Thomas Rettenwender of the Carmel Maker Space, Jacqueline Grallo of the CSUMB Library and Makerspace, and Payson McNett of Cabrillo College's Makerspace. This panel will be moderated by our very own Deputy Director of Innovation and Research, Dr. Jennifer Kuan!

Be part of the growing entrepreneurial community in this region at this monthly meeting. Find out about the latest innovations, trends in business and technology, or the latest and greatest ideas. Meet other founders, investors, and local businesses. It's a great place to network. Join us as we build the Monterey Bay startup community.

Special thanks to our event sponsors: The U.S. Economic Development Administration, The Institute for Innovation and Economic Development (iiED), and CSUMB College of Business.

Thank you to our marketing partner, Monterey Bay Economic Partnership.
