The California Energy Commission (CEC) is organizing a remote workshop to discuss and gather input on a draft solicitation concept for an electric vehicle (EV) charger infrastructure project at military bases in California. The aim is to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission vehicles (ZEV). The solicitation will specifically target EV infrastructure and charging station deployment for non-tactical government-owned vehicles and authorized privately-owned vehicles on military bases. The CEC seeks feedback from individual military departments and entities associated with the military to optimize the use of State funds alongside Federal investments for enhancing EV charger deployment. Input received will contribute to the development of a solicitation expected to be released in 2024.
