She has successfully managed large controversial projects including integrating the divergent needs of many stakeholders, procuring financing, and securing entitlements. As an Alameda citizen with local expertise, she contributed extensively to the creation of and public outreach for the City of Alameda's Climate Action and Resiliency Plan and Emergency Operations Plan. At the Port of San Francisco, she was responsible for the administration, development and management of the climate action policies, programs and sustainability efforts. She co-authored the City of San Francisco's "Guidance for Sea Level Rise in Capital Planning" and contributed to the Bay Conservation and Development Commission's (BCDC's) "Adapting to Rising Tides" report. She has also managed and prepared numerous: climate action plans, sustainability plans, development permits, environmental review documents, technical and feasibility studies, general and master plans, transportation, waste reduction, hazard mitigation and communication plans for complex and controversial projects nationwide. She has written ordinances, codes, and policies to support environmental programs, and solicited and administered grant funding from numerous public agencies.
