FlexCharging, Inc. is an electric vehicle data analytics and managed charging provider that uses existing vehicle telematics. No hardware required. Customers download the FlexCharging app, sign up, and provide vehicle login credentials to begin saving money or reducing grid emissions.
We collect data from over 95% of the models of battery electric vehicles and will share monthly charging data with Utility. We currently manage charging for Tesla and Nissan Leaf (~80% of US market) and will adding Chevrolet, Porsche, VW, BMW, and Jaguar/Land Rover by 2021. The data we collect include charging times, amounts, locations, and types of charge. For most of the popular brands of EVs we can manage charging through various mechanisms, e.g., utility demand response signals, rate schedules (e.g., TOU, PTR, etc.), or daily hourly market pricing.
