Founded in 2019, Dotek LLC engages in R&D to provide solutions to California's most pressing issues - reducing our GHG emissions and providing innovative, low-cost approaches to generating housing. Currently prototyping a bio-mass based building material that combines industrial hemp hurd (shiv) with lime-binder to create a carbon -negative insulative material. This is often referred to as "Hempcrete" and has gained popularity most notably in the United Kingdom and France.
We are now in the visioning phase of developing a modular based approach to building transitional and permanent supportive housing units.
