Organization Overview

ClearFlame Engine Technologies has developed patented technology that allows diesel engines to use decarbonized liquid fuels which will cut their emissions of pollutants and CO2 to zero or near zero levels.  Diesel engines are widely used in heavy-duty applications like long-haul trucking, construction equipment, agriculture, marine, rail, and back-up power generation.  ClearFlame technology enables the traditional combustion engine to achieve the same sustainability metrics as battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell applications, while maintaining the performance, efficiency and convenience benefits of the diesel engine design.  ClearFlame’s vision is to provide the most practical and immediate means to decarbonize and clean up vehicles and machines in heavy-duty segments which are economic drivers for global economies.    Our technology can meet all current and future emissions requirements quickly and cost effectively. Speed and cost matter.  We offer an unparalleled combination of massive emissions reduction in a very short time frame and at cost even lower than existing diesel fueled technology.  We expect to be disruptive to other proposed solutions because of this and have much wider global applicability.  We are able to maintain the value of existing manufacturing, existing fueling infrastructure, existing maintenance facilities and existing mechanic & user skills.  The simple alcohol fuels we focus on already widely exist at scale, they are compatible with existing pumpable liquid infrastructure, and they can be easily produced in both developed and developing economies.
