Organization Overview

The Coalition For A Safe Environment (CFASE) is an environmental justice community-based non-profit organization involved in public rights advocacy, public education, community-based research, community empowerment, community sustainability, community economic development, emergency preparedness, environmental, public health, public safety, and social justice advocacy.

CFASE is one of the leading community-based organizations in the U.S. involved in Zero Emissions Technologies, Emissions Capture, Control & Treatment Technologies, Alternative Energy Technologies, Alternative Fuels, and Energy Storage Technologies research and applications.

CFASE is also a member of numerous local, county, regional, state, and national organization public advocacy collaboratives.  CFASE has been a member of numerous local city, county, regional, state, and federal governmental agency eLists, committees, working groups, task forces, and consultant groups.

CFASE has been actively engaged as a supporting project community organization advocate and as a project participant partner in various business enterprise grant proposals, projects, and programs.

Wilmington is an Environmental Justice, Disadvantaged Community, Social Equity and Low-Income Community located in the Los Angeles Harbor. The Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, Alameda Corridor, 3 Major Oil Refineries, a Railyard, LA County Sanitation Facility, Landfills/Brownfields and over 120 Container Storage Yards are located in Wilmington or border Wilmington. We want clean air, no air pollution, no freight truck congestion, no noise, safe pedestrian corridors, clean manufacturing and freight transportation corridors, port cargo handling equipment and job technologies and emerging technology incubator center.
