VLO is an engineering design firm that specializes in flaoting platforms for renewable ocean energy technologies and the associated mooring and anchoring sytems. VLO ensures that the flaoting platform safely and efficiently supports the payload (turbine, plant, etc.) for the specific site conditions. Engineering expertise includes fuly coupled anlaysis, design sizing and verficiation, structural design and cost analysis. VLO also has several patents, inlcuding for its own flaoting wind platform design.
