We engage with the $25,000 to $5,000,000 building improvement market by providing instant and actionable financing options to contractors who, in turn, present those options to their clients as part of their proposals. CleanFi is free to use.
Presently, CleanFi will also be introducing residential products to satisfy increasing requests from our contractor user base.
We came into the market to solve the sub-$5MM building retrofit market problem. It's ignored by most funders because it is too difficult to underwrite and does not yield enough revenue. But 90% of the US' 6 million commercial buildings are less than 50,000 sq ft and will require sub-$1M financing. CleanFi serves that market by creating efficiency via automation of proposal, application and pre-underwriting.
On the residential side, contractors are increasingly looking for instant quotes from options away from exclusive or high dealer-fee programs.
CleanFi evens the playing field by taking a search-engine approach to finding funding solutions from 3rd-party financiers, recreating their funding mechanisms, terms, rates and profiles on our platform. As contractors and property owners input projects, CleanFi matches them to appropriate funders, and instantly returns blind financing approximates that are actionable; users can compare them, forward them, alter the project, and apply right then using a form customized to match that funder's underwriting needs.
Funders participate at no charge to create one or more products on our platform, addressing any particular project size, asset-class, geography or improvement they want to underwrite.
