Our patented technology is the Oxiperator: the world's first porous heat exchanger-oxidizer to mitigate "weak" methane emissions (0.2%-2% by volume) from point sources both natural and anthropogenic - no catalyst required. A low-emission, low-power solution, the Oxiperator can run under its own power when mitigating sources of weak methane, with the capacity to drive a gas turbine to generate clean electricity. The Oxiperator removes hard-to-abate methane emissions at roughly half the cost and 1/4 the physical size of incumbent technology solutions. The Oxiperator can also eliminate or convert other "waste" gases that contribute to poor air quality, impact human health or global warming, without creating NOx.
Methane is a powerful short-lived climate pollutant with more than 80x the Global Warming Potential of CO2e in the first twenty years after it has escaped into the atmosphere. The lower the concentration, the harder it is to mitigate methane emissions. Reducing methane emissions is the #1 way to slow the rate of climate change.
