So Rove Charging is building a network of full service DC fast charging stations, starting in sunny Southern California. Our team is focused on delivering the highest possible standard of experience to our community, while mitigating the impact of the type of load DC fast charging (DCFC) puts on the grid, AND having a line of sight to profitability through intelligent siting and energy management. Each station will have 40+ charging spaces, 3000-5000 of Rove operated retail, a WFi lounge and 24 hr accessible restrooms (through a secure door link via our app). Rove stations will have dog runs and car washes where we are allowed to by the local jurisdictions.
The days of sitting in the sun waiting for your car to charge, or pulling into the back of some dark sketchy parking lot with no security in the middle of the night will be a thing of the past. No more wandering across half a mile pf parking lot to reach a restroom, or having to cross a highway to get a drink and a sandwich.
Also by bringing the power infrastructure on our sites and at our expense also allows us to bring the solution to the sites that are convenient for drivers, as opposed to the sites that were easy for network operators to contract with. We can manage the impacts to the grid, manage our costs and build out resilient infrastructure that the entire country will need for decades to come.
Rove broke ground on our first location last month and will have doors open on unit one in Santa Ana CA in June of 2024. We have 3 more sites moving into construction as we speak. Currently we have 9 site in the pipeline, but since the press from our groundbreaking, we have two of the largest commercial property operators in the US bringing sites to us for consideration. Within the next two years we will be moving North through California and up the West Coast in anticipation of our Eastward nationwide expansion to follow shortly thereafter.
