Organization Overview: Multipurpose Awareness Society (MAS), founded in 2011, is a nonprofit organization based in Hyderabad, Telangana, dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized and underserved communities. Please describe in your own words your community's needs:: Our community faces significant environmental and socio-economic challenges, including air and water pollution, inadequate waste management, limited access to environmental literacy, and a lack of sustainable livelihood opportunities. Many families in low-income and disadvantaged areas struggle with health impacts caused by poor environmental conditions and limited awareness of clean and sustainable practices. There is a strong need for community-based education, job training, and affordable cleantech solutions that can improve water quality, reduce pollution, enhance resilience to climate risks, and promote long-term economic development. Support is also needed to strengthen local capacity, expand outreach programs, and implement practical demonstrations of clean technologies that directly benefit underserved populations.
