The Blue Lake Rancheria is a tribal government and community in far northwest coastal California. The Tribe has worked with a variety of global-leading academic, public, and private partners to prove up climate-smart solutions across the lifeline sectors of energy, water, food, transportation, and communication/IT. Its work has resulted in campus and smaller community scale solutions that have paired greenhouse gas reductions with improved resilience and emergency preparedness. These deployments have resulted in lessons learned and a benefit stack that includes economic stability and opportunity, social program continuity, and environmental stewardship.
